We have been friends since and have celebrated our kidney anniversaries several times.

Organ donation gave my brother eight beautiful kids and 32 additional years of life.

I knew early on I wanted to be the one to save my little girl’s life by donating my kidney, as long as I was a good match.

Every single day I am overwhelmed with thanks for the health-filled life I get to live.

All in all, it has been a very transformational year! I can hardly keep my enthusiasm contained for this new season of life.
