Stories of hope

For Marc’s sake

32 years ago, at the tender age of 13, my baby brother received a liver transplant. He lived a very productive and fulfilling life. On October 18th, 2023, he passed away. He was 45 years old. My brother left behind a beautiful legacy in his eight beautiful children.

My brother was the life of the party. He always had a funny story and encouraging word to give anyone who would listen. He loved everyone and wanted that in return.

Organ donation gave my brother eight beautiful kids and 32 additional years of life. In honor of his memory and how organ donation can help save a life and give someone a fighting chance, I have beeen registered as an organ donor for eight years now. In addition, I would like to help bring awareness to such an important cause—for Marc’s sake.
