About the Kidney Transplant Learning Center
The UNOS Kidney Learning Center (KTLC) is an online national clearinghouse of public educational resources to support the 650,000 Americans living with ESRD and potential living donors. The information you’ll find here was developed by national leaders in the design of transplant education. Their programs have been unified and then revised for health literacy, resulting in a one-of-a-kind resource that is easy to understand, navigate, and use.
Many thanks to the educational partners listed below who contributed their educational programs to make this possible. We also have gratitude for the other organizational partners, donors, and transplant recipients listed who volunteered their time to this project. This resource was made better through their expertise.
And finally, this project was orchestrated through the efforts of UNOS, Health Literacy Media, 501creative, and project leaders Dr. Amy Waterman and Dianne LaPointe Rudow, DNP. We hope this learning center will save and improve the lives of those who visit.
