At age 39 my kidneys began to fail. By the time I went on dialysis I couldn’t even hold a hair dryer over my head.
Membranoproliferative Glomerulonephritis is the disease which required me to have a kidney transplant. It took me a long time to memorize the name!
I am 18, a college student, a cheerleader and a transplant recipient.
