Valerie Bolt: Eleni the brave

My brave niece, Eleni, was born with end stage renal failure and was on dialysis from birth. She needed to grow in order to undergo kidney transplant surgery so in the meantime our family began the search for a living donor. I volunteered to be evaluated and when I learned I was eligible to donate, it was truly one of the happiest moments of my life. I knew that this gift meant a new chance at life for her and I couldn’t be more proud to be part of her story!
