Hello,
On May 1, 2020 I got the call that would change my life forever and after 14 hours of surgery and a month of recovery. I couldn’t believe how one person’s decision would have an ever lasting impact and have me always wanting to tell everyone about this truly amazing person who I never met. A person who is my hero who saved so many lives. Before my transplant I really didn’t think I was going to make it, and now two years later I enjoy everyday with my kids and grandkids. From time to time, I look up and thank the person who made it possible. And I wanted to say how proud her family must be of her, knowing how many lives she impacted.
