January 2021, the beginning of a new year as well as a new chance at life. This would be my second heart transplant and my first kidney transplant. With my first heart transplant in 2004 it seemed to be a smooth and seamless process. My second go at surgery this time was a bit more tedious yet I survived it all and I’m thankful for the opportunity granted to me.
